Investing individually in one company, you have a 50% probability of a complete loss or a 50% probability of some measure of success. Investing through Tenmou pools your funds with other Business Angels, so instead of exposure to one company, you are exposed to a batch of 10. Now, the probability is that 50% of the companies in the batch will fail, and 50% of the companies will succeed. Tenmou’s aim is that the successes in each batch of companies cover the losses and provide a positive overall return to the Business Angels.
